Stephanie Brickell

Role: European Patent Attorney

Prior to entering the IP field, Stephanie began her professional career as a design engineer, primarily in the aerospace industry, designing and performing stress analysis of hydraulic and gas turbine systems and components. Her passion for technology led to a shift into IP via further academic and professional training.

Stephanie has experience of providing patent, trade mark, and design right support to a range of large and small industrial clients, and sole inventors. In addition to patent prosecution, she is experienced in advising on freedom to operate, patent portfolio management, and defence of IP rights in Europe and the UK. She also has experience of domain ownership disputes, licensing and contractual matters. She particularly enjoys the commercial aspects of IP and dispute resolution.
